Course Description
Students should be familiar with opening and saving Adobe Photoshop files. This course examines specific Photoshop tools and explores how to use different techniques to create graphics.
Learning Objectives
After completing this course, students will be able to:
- Create and modify accurate
image selections
- Effectively use filters,
levels, and curves to correct and alter color and sharpness
- Use layers, blend modes,
masks, and color channels to enhance images
- Combine layering and
masking techniques to isolate and retouch portions of an image
Prerequisites
Students should be familiar with opening and saving Adobe Photoshop files.

Adobe Photoshop 4.0 (or greater)
Platform Support
You can take this course on computers running Windows, Macintosh, or UNIX.
To complete the exercises, however, you must have access to a computer
running Windows or a Macintosh.
